Vintage Paris Université Sorbonne Raglan Sweatshirt, Faded Black, XL
Sold as found · All vintage is final sale
A faded black raglan sweatshirt printed in white and grey with PARIS UNIVERSITE, Sorbonne and a crest, finished with ribbed cuffs and waistband.
No label survives, so the fibre and maker are unknown. It is cut as an XL.
The Sorbonne takes its name from Robert de Sorbon, who founded a college for theology students in Paris in 1257, and it has been shorthand for the Left Bank and the life of the mind ever since. The black has faded to the soft charcoal that only years of washing give, and the print has worn in with it.
Condition: A few small spots.
Measurements to follow.
Care: Wash cold, inside out, hang dry.
