A faded red cotton baseball cap with the navy pony embroidered on the front and a leather strap at the back, from Polo by Ralph Lauren.
The label reads Polo by Ralph Lauren, 100% cotton, Made in Bangladesh.
The pony cap is one of the quiet constants of the American wardrobe: soft cotton, a low crown, a leather strap to fit. This one has washed out to a faded red, the colour a red cap only reaches after summers in the sun.
