The cloth
A rich Burgundy Foulard on soft cotton
Soft cotton printed in a deep Burgundy Foulard, warm and a little vintage. The fine smocking gives the bodice a gentle, gathered texture. It reads rich against the skin without ever feeling heavy.
The cut
A smocked bodice and a ruffled neckline
A fully smocked, fitted bodice gives way to a mini-length skirt, with full-length sleeves finished in elasticized smocked cuffs. A ruffle frames the neckline, and a single button fastens at the back. Easy to pull on and move in.
