1980s-90s Lands' End Charter Collection Corduroy Blazer, Made
A two-button corduroy blazer in a brown-green wale, Lands' End Charter Collection, made in the USA. Leather buttons, two flap pockets, one chest pocket. A men's 40R; on a woman, the oversized sport coat.
The union tag dates it. Inside: UNION MADE, with the ACTWU label. The Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union existed from 1976 to 1995 and then merged away, so this jacket was made inside that window and not outside it. Charter Collection was Lands' End's tailored line in those years. A second code, DU 6605, we quote and do not pretend to read.
